Attended The California Association Of Realtors Convention In Long Beach For One Afternoon Last Week
It was great to see many longtime friends and sponsors, but I guess I’m aging. The booths were booths and the breakout sessions were breakout sessions, but I did not see any session title that intrigued me or any speaker with whom I am familiar. And in many of the sessions they gave the speakers a whole 20 minutes to unleash their valuable information.
If I Had 20 Minutes To Speak
I would probably not finish my introduction. Or wait, that is no problem, I have been a licensed California Agent since 1961, and CAR has never asked me to speak at any function. I feel the lyrics to Janis Ian’s song, “To those whose names were never called when choosing sides at basketball: dreams were all they gave for free to ugly duckling boys like me.”
BUT, there was one interesting aspect. Where ever you turned, there was someone wanting to take your photo. I tried four of them. The results are shown here. The Passport size photo was from the Downey Association, one of my most loyal supporters. The lady is Julie Sartor, number two who works with her sister Jeanette Baumann, E.O. Thank you two for helping DGI for all these years. We love Downey and the nearby Cuban restaurant.
I have been reading Duane Gomer Real Estate Newsletter for years.
I have been able to keep current within out Real Estate industry because Duane Gomer takes the time to write these newsletters.
His office people give excellent service and they really listen and assist with your needs.
When I am asked where to find Real Estate Education, Duane Gomer is the very first thought that comes to mind.
Thank you, Duane Gomer for all you do it is appreciated.
Thank you so much for the kind words. Would it be possible for you to say those nice things on Yelp.
Also, could you send me a note that I can use your comments in a testimonial?
